Is Lovable safe for real users?
Lovable can be used for real products, but the platform can't decide who should see your data. That part is your app's rules. Before real users sign up, check your Supabase tables, your keys and your storage.
Why this happens
A generated app can pass every test you try, because you're signed in as yourself. The risk is what happens when a stranger skips your screens and talks to your database directly.
How to check
- Open your app in a private window and try a page that should need a login.
- In Supabase, confirm row-level security is on for every table.
- List any table without it:
select tablename from pg_tables where schemaname = 'public' and rowsecurity = false; - Search your project for service_role. It must never appear in front-end code.
- Check each storage bucket is private unless everything in it is meant to be public.
How to fix it
- Turn on row-level security for every table, then add rules for who can read and write each one.
- Move secret keys into server functions.
- Scan the app again after each change, since a later prompt can undo an earlier fix.

Review this app for production. Turn on row-level security for every Supabase table and add policies so users can only read and change their own rows. Move any secret key out of front-end code into a server function. List every change you made.
Review what your AI tool changes, and test the live site afterward.

Does Lovable secure my app automatically?
Don't assume it does. Tools can warn you, but you decide who can read each table and you should check the live result yourself.
Is the Supabase key in my code a problem?
The public anon key is meant to be visible. A service role key isn't. Our guide on the anon key explains the difference.
